Hello again, it’s Dave here. Now I’m old enough to remember when bars, pubs and clubs used to have plenty of those huge electronic slots, all shiny with lights and cool themes. And let me tell you, the Mega Joker video slot is a brilliant online version of those classic three-reel machines.
This version lets you choose coin amounts from €0.10 to €1.00, but unusually for a more affordable slot machine you can score randomised progressive jackpots. That means that the pot grows for every time someone takes a spin until it’s awarded to one lucky player, when it will reset again.
As well as a standard mode, Mega Joker has a Super Meter mode. You choose which mode you prefer and could benefit from better payout odds. You can wager up to 10 coins per spin, so nothing too scary for beginners who still want the thrills that the progressive pots can bring you.

About the Mega Joker Slot Machine
Mega Jokers is a good old-fashioned electronic slot game, and I’m pleased to see the old slot favourite symbols like cherries, lemons, melons, bells, 7s, oranges and, of course, jokers (it would odd if there weren’t any of those guys, given the name, right?). All of them count towards some kind of win opportunity, so there are plenty of chances with this machine. Also, call me old fashioned (ok, just old then) but I like the fact this machine has no soundtrack behind it, just some nice realistic sound effects of the reels clunking and some cool effects when you get a winning line, just like the real machines used to make.
Important Symbols
Like it’s real-world counterparts, the Mega Joker game has no special symbols at all, so if you only like games with scatters or wildcards then this one isn’t going to cut the mustard – guess the joke(r)’s on you. Don’t fret though, one of the benefit of the traditional three reel game is that winning combinations do seem to come up more often than the more complicated and newer versions.
Payout Table and Win Potential
The best win you can get in the basic game is 2,000 coins, which is pretty respectable for a three-reeler. If you line up 3 treasure chest symbols you’ll collect the top prize. However, if you’ve decided to play in the Super Meter mode then collecting 3 in a row of the Joker symbols will drop the 2,000 your way. So what’s the benefit of the Super mode I hear you ask? Well, it’s because three 7s will also throw you 2,000. Don’t forget, though, that the progressive jackpot will keep ticking up depending on how many other players are online at the same time, at that could be awarded at random following any spin… So yeah, the more you play the better your chance at snagging it.
Mega Joker Bonus Features
It’s no joke when I tell you there aren’t any! Remember, this is a good, old-fashioned three reel classic! It’s all about those simple 3×3 grid combinations. For beginners, or those who just hanker after the simpler days when slots were slots and you didn’t need to worry about multiple bonus games, this is the one for you!
Game Settings and How To Play Mega Joker
So the only real options you have is whether to play in standard mode or Super Meter. In the basic play you can choose to bet with any of the allowed coin values and amounts and you’ll win prizes based on the payout table. If you get all fancy and wager 10 coins every line is activated and when a win occurs you can either collect (remember when slots had a collect button?!) or play Super Meter.
If you want to play with the big boys in Super mode then you need to make a maximum wager. You can do either 20, 40, 100 or even 200 coins. Any credits get stashed inside the Super Meter. As a tasty extra, if you wager 100 coins and turn up a Joker on the middle reel you get a surprise win that be anything from 100 up to 2000. If you get a bit high roller on us and bet 200 coins, you only need to find a joker anywhere on the three reels to get the same mystery prize.
But Dave, what about that tempting random progressive jackpot, I hear you ask? Simple – any time you place a max bet you qualify to be in with a chance to be awarded the jackpot at random at the end of that spin. Didn’t get it that time? Simply max bet again to be eligible on your next spin, and so on.
If you like the classic three reel games, I guarantee you’ll have a good time with the Mega Joker.
